The Strange Figure in the Window

December 18, 2016

Photo and Story written and produced by Joshua A. Galbicsek

Original Story written Thursday 28th, 2016

I took this picture on Main Street in Reidsville NC on an afternoon riding by. Whatever seems to be here is strange in my view. I edited this picture only by cropping multiple times on a few devices. Then I highlighted the area (blueish) where I'm focusing on of the subject. The subject seems to be a small child, very young, more like a small infant. He looks like he's crying. His head is leaning up on a 4 5 degree angle facing towards the left under the bottom window pane on the top left corner.  It looks like he has a very large ear to the right of his face near the bottom. It appears to be holding something in his hand to the side of him, which looks like a smiling face out from the window (female face). I also see a bow tie around his his neck. The most strangest thing about this picture is that every time I look at this picture, it hasn't changed, because usually when people see random fuzz, it's usually nothing. But I studied this picture a few weeks before I wrote this and I got the same results.

I also have somewhat of a reasonable theory, even though I don't really believe in theories. I have one that makes a lot of sense  (not to be hypocritical). It turns out that this house is located on Mainstreet, DIRECTLY ON IT! The house is built on a row of Victorian houses. The house is white, poorly maintained, two-stories, doors missing, windows boarded up, and very, VERY old! It is also a former church, too. This supports the idea of the theory.

Here's my theory: I feel this little kid's parents left him behind by accident. He's been waiting for a long time, waiting and waiting for them to come back, they never did. (The very most strangest detail that supports this is that he's facing in the direction of downtown Greensboro NC). Waiting for a long time, no one had returned, ever, he didn't make it because no one knew he was at home. They were probably trying to return home to get him, but when they headed back to pick him up, they didn't make it back due to a tragic inconvenience. He was probably really weak and sick, and I'm sure that his family really loved him. He never got fed, cared, or got help from anyone because there weren't any ways to communicate to anyone because he was probably not able to understand how to use a telephone. He looks like he's at the age where he can't process the understanding of how to use a telephone.

To this day, from what I've seen in this picture, after he's been long gone, he's still looking for his family to return home, still waiting. Reidsville has a lot of strange paranormal stories about supernatural occurrences happening in the older historic parts of downtown Reidsville NC. I still can't figure out why there seems to be a head in his arms. I think it's a symbol of regret and fear. It may be a harmless spiritual figure, it might not be. I do know for sure that there is a definite image of this figure.

I can understand why the kid's crying, too, because if my parents were separated from me while I'm a small infant, I would be extremely upset and scared. That once slightly happened to me, but in a different way. My family said they're going somewhere fun. Seeing them leave without me, I had a meltdown, not knowing why they left me, scared. My sister was with me. They came back 15 minutes later. I was extremely happy, frustrated, and confused. I was about 4 or 5-1/2 when they did that. I know they didn't do it to be mean. I really don't know why they did that, but I think it was of a discipline for something I did earlier that day. Still, I can't figure out why.
